Default anyone have this problem?

its happened to me a few times where i will get in my car and my the trip meter on my odometer will reset itself. also some time the first time i go to turn my headlights on all the warning lights on my dash will light up. any ideas whats up?

my trip meter resets it self after 1000kms or around there.
I have no idea about your other problem, does it affect anything else other than lighting up your dash like a christmas tree?

no the trip meter and the dash lights litting up are two diffrent things

Never happened to me.

I'd guess there's some wire issues behind the gauges.

that warning is just a low voltage warning that kicks on real quick when you turn the lights on. especially if you have HIDs, it takes some extra current during the first split second to kick the lights on.

my trip meter only resets if i push the button or if I disconnect the battery.
so I am assuming maybe you have some voltage supply issue especially considering what ghost says about the low voltage making the lights flash up.
I know sometimes in my truck if i let it sit for a while and the battery runs low it will still start up just fine, but it cuts power from my evolution chip programmer and it will reset the same way. maybe your battery is on its way out?
