Default Any Positive Results w/ ST upgrade?

Just as the title states. I just need some positive feedback to reinforce my hopes while I wait to install mine.

So far from what I hear, I'm already disappointed before I've even tried it out.

Mine is great. First after install, the car hits 15< psi. now it can reach 18 psi. (I upgraded to 710N DV)

BTW, after I floor the car serveral times per day once I got the chip, my serpentine belt snapped on last saturday(due to a bad belt tensioner), ending up with no power steering and water pump, but got fixed now.

That's what I'm talking about (not the belt snapping). Keep the good vibe going!

Yeah, I love mine. I embarrassed my friend's new Protege last night. And I toyed around with a SRT4 today with now problem and that being my only mod. I just need to get a gauge to see what's really going down.

I've been running ST since Dec '07, I spike at 20 and holds about 17, has since day 1. No problems related to the tune at all. I've read more positive feedback than negative in the 18 months since the 1st group buy.

Did you do all the required maintenance (DV, vac lines etc.) Before the actually chip install?

I did my timing belt, wp ect and a lot of vac lines about 2 months before, then i did the DV while waiting for ECU to get back from ST. Boost gauge went in about 2 weeks after that.

Got my ST last week, also replaced 710N and the 2 vacuum lines from intake manifold.
I can't say that I noticed much difference. I see mentioning of boost gauge, what is the purpose? Is it just to keep track of your boost or does it help with boost?.

Are there more vacuum hoses that I need to check, does anyone have a diagram showing them?

it doesnt make you any faster but it does help in diagnosing some problems, specifically vac/boost leaks and is a nice interior mod. There are tons of places that can go bad causing a leak. Theres a diagram out there somewhere.
