Default Am I due for suspension replacement?

My car is a 99 and it has 95000km on it. Do you guys think it's time to replace the suspension components? Also, what other parts r due for replacement?

Yes. Replace everything.

No seriously, if you don't have any issues with handling, alignment, or noises, then leave it alone. Have the alignment and tires checked. Then, if necessary, replace the parts when they go bad.

well, i do have some problems w/ steering. I have to turn the steering wheel to the left in order to go straight. I'd say it's at least 10 degree so it's significant. I tried alignment & that didnt help. Any suggestions.

I heard water pump needs to be replaced too. Is that true?

If your steering wheel is off center when you drive straight, you have a bad alignment. It wasn't done right. You additionally may have bad tie rods, which should be replaced before a proper alignment.

As for the w.p., if you don't have over heating or leaking issues, you can probably leave it alone until about 80K mi (120K km).

Tweaked: I've done alignment from a couple of different shops & it still didnt fix the problem, so I think it's not the alignment. I'll look into the tie rod. & no leaking so far, so I'll leave it alone.

Flip: I have stock suspension.

If your steering wheel is not centered, how can you say you have a proper alignment? Can they not align it because it's too far out of spec to adjust? (in which case, something is broken or bent)

I mean, I suppose it's possible you have a worn or leaking steering rack that it could cause a dead spot in the steering... have you checked the p.s. fluid? (Pentosin only!)

Do you have an alignment print-out you can share with us?
