oh, no it's the same car. europa blue can look pretty purple depending on the lighting.

meh I thought I got a good deal on the racks, $200 shipped, used for less than a week, but I just found them for $200 brand new on a parts site. oh well.

$200 for OEM rack?

I found one for $250. Is that the same one?

^ You lucky bastard!

I've had the Thule one for a while. Might go OEM since the styling looks cleaner. For some reason I keep thinking OEM sits higher than Thule tho.

Nah it's cool. I don't want you to go outta your way just to measure. Just do it when you get the chance. TIA . I like the look of OEM better anyway. Is there supposed to be a fairing that comes with it tho?

Might have been one from the factory but i would assume mine are at least 2nd or 3rd hand merch.

FYI Its a little under 2" from the bottom of the roof bars to the top my roof on the sides, about 1 3/4" in the middle of the roof. I dunno if they're a ton higher than the Thule roof bars, but the bars themselves are definitely thicker, which might add to why they look higher.

Yeah, you're right about that. Not exactly sure how high mine are. I'm gonna measure it up later. Thanks for the info.

I just like OEM better since the bars don't go further than the roof attachments. IMO just look cleaner in general. Seriously, rack nowadays is more of a "style" than purpose.

I agree about the look, thats exactly why I looked for OEM when I was in the market for roof bars. The way the Thule racks stick out past the side lines of the roof bugs me.

Mine is very functional, I use it to get my tri bike around
