I want to replace my car stereo because it is not compatible with my subwoofe, ipod, etc. Can you advise me on how or where to purchase a quality head unit at a reasonable price?
Thanks!

There are many options out there, so my suggestion would be to use Crutchfield:
Find what fits your car - Crutchfield
This will help find the right stereo, as well as whatever adapter harnesses are required.

I too may be interested in such a stereo, but I like the non-gaudy kind that seems to be quite rare. In the dash of our audis there seems to be a fairly refined look and adding a stereo with a hundred flashing lights and buttons seems to take make the interior of the car look "cheap".
Does anybody (that agrees with me - my apologies if I offended people) have any suggestions on where to find a stereo that fits the aesthetic of our interiors better?

So I decided to buy the Kenwood HD-458U cause its red. Now, I got some aftermarket speakers, but they don't fit accurately. Pioneer TS D1002R which are 4" speaker, just like audi's i believe, but they dont have the right screw hole alignment. Btw i new at this. I'mt not sure what speaker will fit right so does anyone know what aftermarket front speaker will fit correctly? I got the duct tape out but decided to post first.
