Default Aftermarket audio help?

I have some questions about installation of an aftermarket stereo,amplifier, and 2 12'' subs. Normally i could do this easily but with the bose sound system and amp that comes with it makes it a little bit harder. What do i need to wire differently? Also one more question i need to remove the center console around the stereo and i unscrewed everything, but it seems to be all like one piece? I dont want to pull on it and break it like i accidently did with the wood painted trim around the stereo. Any help?

Are you planning on keeping the Bose speakers and Bose amp and then adding the head unit, sub amp and subs or are you planning on replacing all of the speakers?

If you are just looking to add a sub then here is a post on AW that I helped a guy with.

Also if you are trying to remove the head unit and it's a double din then you need these keys to remove it.

There are slots in each of the 4 corners where these fit. You can make your own or buy a set. Good luck.

Right now im just going to be replacing the head unit and throwing in 2 12's and an amp. I dont have the money to replace all of it right now. But it will be eventually.

Cyber thanks for the link i will take a look at that. And for the key part i do not know yet i have to get my console off first. How much would a set of those keys be anyway?

they are very cheap on ebay..
It's the same process, even if your radio doesn't look exactly like this one..

Here's a video that's pretty representative of what to do to remove the radio;

I have the single DIN concert radio in my car and I just used a small flat tweezers to take my radio out. You just have to insert the tool into the slots a little bit to get the clips to release.

Ok well i took out my stock stereo, took awhile considering my car was impounded for a few days. $500 to get it out which was just fantastic. But my Pioneer deck and wiring kid and adapter will be here middle of next week. So i was just wondering where i start on removing the trim. Like its not like other cars it seems the bottom door pieces are connected all the way through? Also not willing to come off easily and i don t want to break them lol. Any ideas? Id rather not pay best buy $60 bucks to do something i could do myself. Thanks.
