Ac high pressure side

Default Ac high pressure side

Audi newb question.
Where is the ac high pressure port? I need to charge the air conditioning in my 1996 a4 quattro.

charge the low pressure side.

You have to pull the low pressure switch off the line inside the cowl, next to the battery and get a special fitting to screw back on that you can connect to a gauge manifold set. There's a shrader valve under the low pressure switch so you can take it off without the refrigerant leaking out. You then have to jump the electrical connector attached to the low pressure switch so the compressor will run while your charging.
