you would be better off just sending old one out to get rebuilt. I believe its around $185 bucks and you can drive it around while they are fixing it. If you hear three beeps at start up then it most likely just needs to be rebuilt...you can save a lot of money this way..

thats what im doing next week actually

if your ABS light is solid and your brake light is flashing...the answer is yes....you can have it rebuilt...or find one in a junk yard...OR buy a new one...

If both lights are solid, it's more than likely a sensor.....

My ABS light is on and has been on. My Brake light flashes as well. The thing that is weird though is that it has gone off on its own and will come back on after I restart the vehicle. Any idea on this?

I found the video. Why can you not just take the cap off instead of cutting it off?

I tried soldering mine. You need a very steady hand and some sort of magnification would be great too. It's tough.

The ABS light/fault resets itself when the ignition is turned off, then comes back on...all the codes will however stay in the memory...once fixed however, the light will go off, but, the old codes will be in there...but you should clear your codes....
