Default ABS land brake warning lights are on

My ABS light is on, brake light is flashing on the dash as I drive. My brakes work prefect, so I dont know what the problem is. ABS works fine, car stops normal. Any ideas?

ABS control module is going bad, needs to be rebuilt. or one of your speed sensors got screwed. probably the control module.

www.modulemasters.com <-- they can rebuild it for $250.

Your car is fine to drive, just be aware your car wont have ABS or EDL (our electronic lockers) until you get it fixed.

One of the traits of the bad abs module is that it's intermittent. Now you'll know what it is if it comes back!

yep - another test it to try and scan the ABS module with the VAG. If it can't connect then it is definitely a dead module . Rebuild for $250 or a new electronic replacement for $450.

Be aware that without ABS your rear brakes will tend to lock early and throw the rear end out, especially on ice.

I just had to replace my ABS module. My rear end would lock up really easy while my ABS was out. Might have something to do with road conditions.

I am having the same issue but only when I turn my headlights on. If I turn the ignition on lights on then crank the car nothing happens. but if the car is running and I turn my lights on the ESP, ABS light comes on, and brake light flashes. I just installed some new aftermarket HID's, Im thinking its too much current draw when they start up. anyone know if the lights and ABS are on the same circuit???

edit: by they way I dirive a 2002 A4. 1.8T
