So my abs and brake light have been on since i got the car, but yesterday while driving the dash made the noise light it does when the service inspection warning goes off when the car starts up and then the lights went away. It later did it again and the lights came back and since then it has been doing it off and on. The problem its that my center dash display went out, but still shows the gas light but nothing else. Any suggestions on what is going on? Should i just pull the fuses and see if it stops? BTW its a 98 2.8QT

 

I'm not sure pulling the fuse is the right way to go. Do you have access to a VAG? Most times the ABS / Brake light is caused by a bad ABS module or a wheel speed sensor. The VAG will tell you which part is casuing the dash lights. Although I've never heard of it beeping at you for that reason. Maybe the noise is related to another issue rather then the brake light.
