a4 vs. camaro
#13
Is it a tpi 350 that was swapped in? If the car has tpi then it'll leave you at the line. The tpi 350's had 345 ft lbs. of torque. 350 wasn't an option in 85 for the thirdgen camaros/firebirds so you should find out what it came out of.

I have own 3 thirdgens f-bodies and you should lose. The only thirdgen that I owned that wouldn't consistently run circles around a 15.5 was my 86 Berlinetta with a choked out 150,000 mile LG4. My 88 GTA with a 305 TPI would run low 15's all day. Now I have also seen a lot of people swap in old truck 350s with terrible heads and low compression "but it was a 350" which led to the car being slower after the swap then before.
