Default A4 newb... Help!

I just recently got out of Jeeping and into Audi's. I have a 98 A4 Quattro 5-Speed. It has a tune (15psi boost), a dirverter valve, and Carbonio intake. All of this stuff was on the car when I got it and I want to squeeze a little more power out of it. Need help on deciding on what my next step on performance mods should be. I saw something about deleting the cat with a 3" test pipe, how much could I expect out of that? Also, how much boost can you run safely in this engine? (AEB?) Thanks for any help as I'm an Audi newb!

If you already have a tune that pushes 15 pounds, you can try and find another tune thatll push more, like a giac tune. Other than that, doin a test pipe and exhaust will help free up some of that power. Don't expect miracles, but you should feel a different in spool time and such. Honestly, I wouldn't expect it to be a rocket with that k03 turbo you have in there. If you are looking for some good power, upgrading the turbo is the way to go. Funny, if you look at the FIRST thread when you enter this forum is a f.a.q. that can answer every one of your questions. Here ya go: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=109459 But to sum it up, if you want big power you have to go big turbo. Good luck brother (and welcome to 4x4 for pavement!)

Ok, yeah right now i'm runnung 15psi. I'm just concerned about the longevity of the engine when running any more boost.
