Basically what I'm asking is... what is the difference between the A4 1.8T Quattro and the A6 2.8 Quattro?

A4-standard luxury, has a turbo witch makes modding for hpeaiser, that one has a lot of miles, better gas mileage

A6-more luxury, good hp for stock, good amount of miles, not so good gas mileage

Both are automatic's, I hate auto's

 

Auto = never buy, price on the a6 seems low

 

looks like at this point its whether you have any plans to mod. a4 if you plan on doing anything more then exaust and intake. a6 if you want a little bit bigger car with a reliable 2.8.
