Who would win this race from a stop, roll ?

My mods are on the bottom... and assume 2003 Mazda Protege Speed is stock

 

The Mazdaspeed's suck. They run a crappy t25 on very little boost. It would be close stock, but with a chip, its just going to be ugly

 

from a dig it will be close, I'd suspect that you would be practically neck and neck...is the protege stick?

from a roll, it will also be close, depends on what gear and what speed...

there's only one way to know for shure

my money is on the A4 maybe a cars length to 60 from a dig
and possibly a car and a half or 2 from a roll to 100


well, go out tonight and figure it out and post vids either later tonight or 2moro.

loose the sound system and run on an empty tank if you want a lil more outa it

 

if you have quattro, I would bet on the a4 (from a stop). I know there is powerloss with it the quottro, but if you get the jump on him off the line, it would be an even race with you in the lead from the good launch w/ quattro.

 

Guys, the mazdaspeed has only 170hp and 160tq. Its not going to make much more since the engine is weak.

And at 2850lbs

 

I think it mostly will depend on the driver more than the cars...which means it could be a close race...the mazda speed is a bit lighter and it looses alot less power to the wheels...
