^ That's why I did it to mine when I had it. I still have the filter and I might stick it on my truck.

Driving a piece of **** Buick will help you appreciate a German car that much more - it'll give you a great perspective on how superior it is.

i work at a gas station and they guy im buying it from is one of the mechanics and he has a 1.8 quattro with 220k on it he knows these cars in and out the one im buying from him is his friends which he has been servicing since 50k it is now at 149k. he just did everything like the timing belt water pup trans flush and refill he texted me a list like 5 pages long so im positive they'll be nothing wrong with it. his friends buy audi just because he knows so much about them and gets parts for cheap from a disclosed location which he will tell no one haha. but when i get it i have fuel injector cleaner and fuel system cleaner to put in with a full tank of 93 and in the faq it says to use API Certified oil, can i get it at autozone? and what type of oil filter should i use?

I've always like Purolator PureOne filters and Mobil Synthetic. Purolator filters are 97% efficient(Classic) or 99% efficient (PureOne) and, perhaps more importantly, are made right here in the USA.

Any parts store. Get the purolator gold filters though - 99.99% filtration is worth an extra $2.
