Cool 98 audi a4 steering fluid

My car makes noises when I move the wheel. I checked steering fluid, its pretty much gone. I think it leaked. The reservoir says g 002 000 . The guy at an audi shop gave me g 004 000. I read that 004 000 is green. Not sure if its true. Anyways, the hydraulic fluid in the car is red. I guess my question is, should i return the 004 000 (i havent opened it. it is green color right?) and get 002 000. Also, how do I flush it once i get this new fluid? Any cool diy out there?
thank you for your time

i use this kind:
Home Page > Search > CHF 11S > ES#1801 Hydraulic / Power Steering Fluid - CHF 11S - CHF11S

with your car off
fill the reservoir up
start the car, run for 2 seconds, turn off
fill the reservoir up
start the car, run for 2 seconds, turn off
fill it no farther than MAX on the dipstick
start the car, turn your wheel back and forth lock to lock 10 times
turn car off
check fluid level
start the car, turn your wheel back and forth lock to lock 10 times
check fluid level and put the dipstick+lid back on

this should help
