Default 98 audi a4 b5 1.8t clutch setup?

Ok so here is my situation. I have owned my car for almost a year and ever since I bought it there was a slight oil leak. Turns out it is the rear main seal on the motor (which is directly behind the flywheel/clutch) so I am having this replaced by my next door transmission shop, so now while i have the transmission out I plan on getting a new clutch and flywheel. Now there are several issues as we all know with doing clutch jobs. 1#. The flywheel is dual mass. The transmission guy is very persistent that if I go with any thing other than an oem dual mass flywheel my car will shudder. So I know 034 Motorsports sells a clutch and single mass flywheel in the southbend catagory (HD Stage 2) that handles 280 ft-lbs torque, for about $900. There is also ECS Tuning with their single mass flywheel (12 lbs) and clutch (RA4 clutch stage 2) that handles 380 ft-lbs torque, for about $800. The thing with ECS everyone seems to say it sucks. No one gives it a good review??? Is it really that bad? The clutch my shop is trying to get me to go with is LUK. He loves them, because I am assuming he gets some type of deal on them. Plus he seems to think he can just de-glaze the dual mass flywheel when it's out. He's very good. #2. I plan on making my car a stage 3 apr over the summer so I need a clutch that can handle at least 280 ft-lb torque. I do not know what the minimum weight can be when switching from a dual mass stock flywheel (26lbs) to single mass flywheel (8-26lbs)? I do not want shudder just if plausible a faster rev time. Is it even worth it.? Any ideas anyone?? I would just like to hear what clutch and flywheel setups people have that work in this hp range without breaking the bank. Thank guys.

i have the stage on ra4 clutch. i dont know how everyone says they suck cause they are actually oem s4 and rs4 clutches the stage 3 is a clutch masters stage 3 clutch. they only thing anyone can bitch about is the flywheel. i see nothing wrong with it though. some may say its a little thin but i have not had any issues. id get it

Ok so Redline you have the ECS Tuning Stage 2 RA4 clutch and 12lb flywheel. How is the revving? Is it any faster? Does the car feel any different to drive. Does the car shudder at all? Approximately how much hp do you have in your car? How many miles on clutch and flywheel since install?

i have the stage one ra4, so the stock s4 disk and pressure plate. i am chipped so i got about 200 hp. honestly i dont notice that much of a difference with anything besides the clutch holding a ton better. if its wet i can actually spin the tires on launch. i can now floor the gas in fifth without the clutch spinning so i would say its a ton better than stock
edit: i forgot to mention that its kinda weird your shop is trying to get you to go with a luk kit considering the stage one and two ra4 kits is a luk clutch.
