Default 97' 1.8t quattro, trying to decide if i need to replace the clutch.

I would like to know how much wear can be on the clutch material before i need to replace it because i bought a new tranny and have no idea if my clutch needs replaced or not. and was wondering what the thickness of the clutch when you buy it new and how much can be worn off before it needs replaced.

Here's the wear spec for southbend clutches... You can use it as a general guideline for yours

New is .308" wore out is.220"
