96 overheating

Ok this is the diagram so it show the flow coming through the block on drivers side and flowing thru the top hose and out the bottom going from the bottom it goes it to stat housing so the coolant still should go thru the hose but get stopped at the housing and not allow to go further so then with that said the house still should be hot going to the housing just not going past. So coolant is going in hot to the radiator but not coming out thru the other line. And ya I flushed it but that isnt going to get everything out of the radiator there's so many tiny passages. And the car warms up normally then it's starts to go up

The blockage could still be a stat that doesn't open. If water can't get through the stat, then there is no reason for the radiator to be warm all the way through and the bottom radiator hose would be cold. There is no where for the cold water to go.
You're right, just because you have flow through the radiator doesn't mean there isn't some blockage in there. But it does mean that the lower hose should at least be warm.

you are right mtroxel..I had a clog once that wasn't apparent because there was no pressure on the system, but once pressurized the clog moved. It could still be the tstat, BUT i'm now more leaning toward a clogged radiator as well, what I know from other vehicle makes, if the bottom hose is cold and the top one is hot, the radiator is generally clogged....

We'll I'll try the radiator and see how it goes I need the car for Monday so I'll try this cause it's the only part I can get on the weekend and if all good ill do timing belt when funds aren't the problem

Ok so update just picked car up from shop last night. Had timing belt kit installed with all new cam seals. Ok so I let my car warm up this morning 1 minutes was about 2 notches under half and left for work driving through the city got to halfway which is normal for the three years I had it we'll once I started driving on high way temperature started to slowly drop obviously it's on 25degrees out without windchill but it ended up dropping to the first notch on the gauge and stayed there till I got to work. Is this normal with all new cooling parts. And my heater core is hot and when in city is was blowing warm but once on highway and temp started to drop it became more like luke warm to barely warm. So now I need help

Yea that's not normal. I drove a 12 valve 96 for 271,000 miles, some of them in much colder temps than 25 degrees (its 4 outside where I am right now) and once it warmed up, the gauge never dropped back below half way.
So you overheated, put in a new radiator and still overheated, now after a new stat and pump it's too cold? That car's beating you up. There are lots of things that can overheat a car. About the only thing that can overcool it is the stat being stuck open.
