Aaron Is correct.

When CF is painted i like it, On all highend cars the CF is PAINTED. Not just left a baby blue car with CF doors and baby blue door handles.

And 600 AWD Power is not that hard to handle. 816RWHP G35 DD on high boost.

And orA 414RWHP 350z DD.

Both those i have driven for weeks on end, Granit the G is hard as **** when you put the boost up you just spin out every five minutes. But whenever i take my buddys z Out its controlable.

I like the car, im glad there is a fast race Audi out there. LIke i said though, i am not a fan of unpainted CF. paint your car ill love it. No doubt.
LOL, first off the car is NOT baby blue so please call it by its color which is "pelican blue". Who ever said I was done with the car? I already stated that I was going to have the hood/fenders/doors sprayed but leaving parts of the kevlar showing since it is a race car.

I never said 600whp was hard to handle, I just dont have a need to drive it on the street anymore. I am also a paid driver for another shop and am the only person in the country to put both a A4 and S4 into the 10's. So believe me I can handle 600-700whp in my sleep.

BTW, how can you like CF if it is painted? If it is painted you wouldn't know it was even there. LOL.

klum00 - no hard feelings taken. It is a race car so it isn't like I care if people like the way it looks or not. The car is just going thru some changes to aim for 9's in the 1/4 mile.I got most of all the kevlar parts that are on my car at whole sale prices or just about nothing for allow the CF shop use my parts to produce molds. At this time I am the only B5 running CF or Kevlar doors.

SorryI wasn't getting defensive, just find it odd that an A4 owner would call pelican blue "baby blue" and that people still think "ricer" when they see CF parts on a car which seems odd coming fromsomeone thatsays they own aJDM car.

But hey good luck finding a 96 trunk seeing that car is 12 years old and only came in a 2.8 so the amount of those trunks are very limited unless you buy it brand new from a audi dealer but that isn't going to be cheap seeing that just the lic plate cover on thattrunk retails for around $200 at the dealer. The trunk we got to make the mold had to be sourced from someone that owned a Euro spec B5.

I dis like CF parts on cars personally.

Id just take a regular black 96 Trunk.
Word! CF body parts are cool but if your just putting them on without the intentions of weight reduction and painting them kiss that beautiful fiber gleam bye bye in about 3 years or so. not a sun friendly part.

Shipping is the part that is not cheap. My last 2 trunk freight shipments were $360-$400 including the cost of the crate the trunk was packed in.

So far, I've been quoted £95.

There are a couple of guys on Audizine that need them.
