hello everyone, i have a 97 2.8 quattro 5 speed. it drives well so far but im thinking the clutch is pretty worn. im pretty sure the throwout bearing is on its way out because it makes an annoying rubbing sound when i have the clutch pushed in but you cant really hear it unless you have the window down in a drivethru. the reason im postinf this though is because when i shift quickly into 4th from rpms 3-5 i get a pretty bad jerk. if i take my foot off the gas for a second then push down again even if i hammer down on it it seems to be fine and picks up alright. i have one bad catalytic converter that has some pieces broken off in it but it hasnt triggered a cel. im hoping its the car messing with the air flow or something( not really educated in cars) but my gut says the clutch. anyone have the same problem or heard of this before? and oh yeah, all other gears are fine just 4th is giving me problems. thanks in advance for any help
