4.2L V8 swap into my 2001 B5 A4 [Pics+Vid]

Wow, very nice welds there Russian. This swap doesn't appear to be as difficult as i thought it would. The only 4.2L swap i remember seeing was one of the older techs at my dealer threw in an S4 4.2L into his audi 200. That was a nightmare compared to this for some reason. Almost makes me want to find a crappy 2.8L A4 with a blown motor i can do this on and sell that turd for a good profit.

Wow, I had NO idea a v8 fitted that good in the engine bay! Wasn't it a problem that the rads are so far up front? What's usually been done on the projects i know of is to seat the engine ~5cm further behind (you should be able to do this if you'rel ucky without giving your driveline critical angles for things) in order to seat the coolers..
You don't have an IC though, so I guess it's okay.
Wish I could pull off this mod, but I'm afraid I need to do alot of work to make it happen, my axles are too thin, radiator should get bigger, new exhaust with cat (de-cat won't get through MOT here).. i have the cheap version of the A4
From where I'm from you need to have papers that state that your chassis can handle the power, which is most easily found by getting Audi to confirm that your chassis is the same chassis as a car which is approved to handle all the power.. I recogn B5 was the only version of the S4 without a 4.2 v8... only had the 2.7 compressor / turbo.
