35W HID install on a '99.5 A4
Hello everyone,
I'm requesting once again your help in regards to HID installations. I recently bought a Xentec 35W 6000K HID kit. My brother has this same kit on his E30 M3 and absolutely loves it. I was inspecting the headlamp housing today and decided to pull the original H7 halogen bulb and noticed it is a 55W bulb. Do you guys think I am going to have a problem with the 35W HID kit? I'm worried that I might need a relay wiring harness. For those who have HID's, could you guys post your setup/ problems and what you did to solve them? Thanks in advance.

What a relief! I hope my install is as smooth as yours.
Akielb...I wish I would have known about the DDM products before...I bought my Xentecs for $60.00 shipped but I would have rather bought the DDM's. Now I'm going to have to wait until a ballast goes out, but even then, I have a 1 year warranty on them.

Quick question. I'm thinking about buying a set for my car. Do you guys only hook these up on low beams? or do some of you do High beam, Low beam, and fog? Do you have to buy a separate kit for all of them?
