2500 $ audi a4 quattro
i just bought an orange a4 with 12500 miles quattro with 2.8 v6. with a few minor problems. first the car sqeakes, suspension def. needs to be replace i was thinking b and g struts and shock for 600$ with 1.6 drop possibly bushing need to be replace aswell. but ill do shock first. second exhaust is welded together and is rattling. also passanger rear window motor need replaced and sun roof do not work. lastly the check engine light is on. after about 5000 rpm the car has a loss of power still goes to 6000 rpm but im thinking this is possible exhaust related and/or timing since the check engine light is on. car idles great and has good power until 5000rpm idles around 800 to 1000. oh yeah the front brakes need to be done too. i am looking for advice on how too and what to do with this car aside from selling it/junking/or setting it on fire(my dads a mechanic and hates audi's, although he can check the engine light he prob wont for a couple weeks).

and i forgot to mention the car lock dont work either i have to manuely lock and unlock doors

spend $30 on an ebay USB-OBD2 cable and download a free version of VAG-COM (search the site for it) it will be the best 30 bucks you can spend. you will be able to read DTC's (check engine lights) and monitor your car from a laptop.
start by doing all maintenance items first. oil and filter, brake fluid, power steering fluid, auto transmission if auto or center and rear differential fluid if manual, new air cleaner, cabin filter, plus what you listed. at 125k miles primary O2 sensors and a MAF would be a good idea to replace.
