My pass. window broke both regulators arms/clips and now window is "separate" and "now unconnected" to any part of my window regulator....
-When I re-install new regulator, what ensures (1) I have full travel of the regulator wires/movement & (2) that motor engages window regulator wire at "correct point" in terms of window travel (up & down) ?

-Is there a "initial set up" position I should notice/use as I install new window regulator so that when it's back together the window will travel 100% up & down?

Put the window in first and push it all the way up into the frame, make sure it is even. Then slide the regulator up and tighten the window clamps. It's a good idea to trace the outline of the window clamps onto the window with some tape so it's easy to realign.
