That looks complicated.. now I see why it cost us so much for my moms GTI. Sadly I need to get this done on my A4 this week.

GTI is a slightly different process since the engine is mounted transversely, but still involved. The only thing thats complicated is being organized. If you can read and have the right tools, it only takes time.

There are other timing belt DIY articles out there, but we are still waiting on a member from our site to make a writeup for/from audiforums. I'll be doing mine in the spring, but if someone else wants to make our own writeup before then, go for it. But it's gotta be better than the rest.

I have all the pictures from my TB job last year but haven't gotten around to making a DIY.
