How much more difficult is it to replace the cam seals along with the VC seals? I have the same issue and im not sure if its the cam seals leaking or just the VC seals. If its not much more work then ill just buy the kit and do everything. I saw the writeup for the VC seal reaplace and it doesnt look to difficult but if i gatta take off my bumper and start pulling belts off and such to redo the cam seals thats probly out of my league.
You can do the VC gaskets in an hour or so, depending on how much cleaning of the gasket surfaces and old RTV you have to get out. The timing belt and cam seal job will take all day, maybe 6-8 hours if you don't have any problems.
These times are in my experience only, others may have done better.
