2000 A4 with Stuborn Check Engine Light

Definitely will. Try checking any manuals you have for it. There's a thread about getting a few guys getting the code from the dealer using their VIN, but I think the dealer might charge you. Another guy called Audi of America and got his code for free.

Well, it worked...but the check engine light came on again this morning on my way to work. Was off for about 50 miles, ugh. And I didn't manage to get in inspected yet.

Some History...
Ok, I fired up the V-Checker last night and got the following 2 trouble codes (in generic mode).
The second code looks to be another oxygen sensor fault (3 have already been replaced but I suppose it's possible that all four need replacement). I'm not quite sure what the first code means but I have read that the "1" in the third position means its a "fuel and Air Metering" related fault (it sounds like a timing issue?).
I also ran though some oxygen sensor tests but I don't know how to interpret the values. Here are the readings for Bank 1 Sensor 2.
If anyone can help me interpret all of this or maybe identify what else I should be looking at it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
I recently bought a 2000 A4 Quatro Avant with a 2.8 V6 and auto trans. Love the car but within a few days of ownership the CEL came on. I brought it to an independent shop and they told me it needed two oxygen sensors and possibly new converters, but they wouldn't know that until they replaced the sensors. I had them replace the sensors but within a day or so the CEL reappeared.
I next took it to an AUDI dealer for diagnosis. They said they found some cracked vacuum lines, which they replaced and that the # 1 O2 sensor on bank two (drivers side) was bad. I went to PEP Boys and bought an OEM sensor (bosch) and replaced it myself. CEL did not budge.

- Rich to Lean Sensor Threshold Voltage (constant) = 0.572 V
- Lean to Rich Sensor Threshold Voltage (constant) = 0.572 V
- Minimum Sensor Voltage for Test Cycle (calculated) Test Value = 0.000, Max = 0.572 Min = 0.000
