2000 A4 2.8L cold start issues
I have been having an issue with my 2000 Audi A4 2.8l v6 over the past few months involving really hard starting when the car has sat for more then a few hours. This problem mainly occured once the cold weather hit here in central Illinois however I have done everything I can think of to solve the issue with no luck.
In the mornings after the car has sat for a long period of time (say 6-10 hours) it takes a very long time to start. I would say roughly 20-30 seconds or one to two trys of turning the key. Why?
My first attempt at fixing the issue was to do a tuneup on it and change the Fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs (which I used NGK's from Orielly's) and checked fluids. This didnt help, however I did notice that I have a leaky valve cover, woohoo! So after these few items I went further into depth and changed the coil pack and Fuel pump with new units from FCPEuro.com. Still no luck. (Did not change the fuel filter at this time, dummy)
I have also replaced the entire PVC hose system, Coolant temp sensor and most vacuum hoses with new units from FCPEuro.com!
Can anyone of you fellow Audi owners help me to figure out the issue I am having because I am at a loss for solutions at this time. I have ordered a new fuel filter and will be throwing it on soon.
Car is bone stock with 132k on it.
Thanks,
Travis

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but for all the money you've spent on parts guessing at it all, you could have bought a VAG-COM and had a much more educated look at what's going on.
And at this point, the advice you get here will be just another guess. You really need more data.
