2000 A4 1.8T Tiptronic Jerks while shifting
My 1.8T A4 with 158k miles just started having a problem where when it shifts gears there is a slight jerk and its not as smooth as it was before, the jerking is alot more obvious when shifting at rpms lower then around 3k while any higher it slowly dies off, when using the tiptronic option while changing gears the jerking is even more obvious then in auto, ive read online and had some people with similar problems be suggested to change the tranny fluid, is this suppose to be changed or only when you start to run into problems? any help would be really appreciated because i dont want it to get any worse!

K well I just checked my service logs and apparently i did change the tranny fluid when i got the car about 10k miles ago, i also got a few more problems that just started showing up, my speedometer started going crazy, it would jump up and down but once i hit around 30mph it went straight to 0 and stayed there, i drove a few miles on the freeway and it stayed at 0 the entire time, after looking in the engine bay i see that some coolant was leaking getting all over the bottom half of the engine and what looks like the speed sensor, could this be messing with my transmission problems also? I find it weird all of these problems started at the same time, does anyone know the exact location of the speed sensor?
