2000 1.8T for $7000?
Ok, so there is a 2000 1.8T quattro, 5-speed, with premium sport and winter packages for sale on craigslist. 98,000 miles. Timing belt was done about 10k ago. the car has a rebuilt title, owner says rear bumper and trunklid were replaced. Gonna go look at it this weekend. What do you guys think, good deal?

I beg to differ. not quite a deal for a salvage title. they can tell you whatever has been replaced, its stilla salvage.
if you can get him to sell at around $5k then maybe its decent.
I got my excellent condition2001 1.8t w/ 61k miles from an Audi dealer, for $7300 OTR fyi.
I'm sure you can find a better deal, or at least work out a better price on this one.

since there is a rebuilt title and its around 100,000 check to see if they have done tie rods/cv boot... they usually are next to go near in the future along with o2 sensors and maf fouls... test drive it and ask about every creak or rough spot... they could be hiding a deep surprise thats getting ready to go out...
