2.8 V6 Balance Factor
I know this may be a long shot but does anyone know the OEM balance factor for the Audi 2.8 V6 engine? I am building a race engine for a customer and I am not sure what the factory uses as a balance percentage or factor.
Any help or even steering me in the direction of someone that knows would be a big help.

RE: 2.8 V6 Balance Factor
Well if it's all-out, I have read before that the 3.0 crank will bolt right into the AHA block, for a 2.8/3.0 stroker setup. Couple that with lighter pistons/rods and some headwork and custom programming to the ECU (likely real-time tuned on the dyno), and it could have some potential. Still won't make a ton of power unless it's really built for high revs (I'd imagine a 2.8 would have to spin close to 8000RPM to really pull some power out). If it's done, along with balancing and blueprinting, I could see where it'd have some good potential, but it seems that the cost of all this wouldn't really pay off for the resultant power delivery. Do this stuff and throw a G2 on it though, and it could be wicked.
