1996 A4 2.8 Quattro Manual $2700 good deal?
#11
I bought a 96 with 175k. Granted thats a few more thousand that what you said, but still one your pushing the numbers higher things go wrong with all cars. It kinda sounds like the deal i was gonna get. I paid 3200 for mine, over priced i know, but it had a bunch of lighting upgrades and a few other cosmetic upgrades and the same engine parts new and he was an old audi tech. Just check the rear springs when you get it, they screwed me over hardcore. 1000 to put in new stock ones. i would put in coilovers all over than that if i had known better. Search the car hard core before you put the money down. 96s are known for more common errors and mistakes happening to them bc of the first year production, check the steering and belts for cracks or about to go wrong. My pump blew riht before i sold mine and the wheel bearings were gonna go soon. You probably know what to look for but id hate to have another audi owner go thru what i did. thats just my 2 cents.
