Default 1.8t guys: exhaust question

hey guys, im stg 3 and am running a resonated 3" exhaust to a shitty *** looking (but great sounding) magnaflow muffler.

I want something that looks nice / sounds good too.

I'm looking to spend south of $200

I would like a 3" inlet to dual 2.5 - 3" outlets

1)What dual outlet diameter do you recommend? 3" 2.5" does anyone make 2.75"

2)what exhaust do you run? do you like it?

3)if you could switch it up, what would you go with?

i found this vibrant for $143 after shipping

edit:sorry, i know this has been beaten to death... but im more looking for deals that people know of, and a year old thread wont really help me out with that.

I was looking at that same vibrant setup a few weeks ago, but its way overkill for what i need. pics of your current setup? something else i've been thinking about is picking up a one-in-one-out muffler, like many that flowmaster sells, and then having some nice tips welded onto it. That way you can make it look like whatever you want

As for outlet diameter, the larger the diameter the louder and deeper the tone you'll get. 3" would be fine but i wouldn't go much smaller than that i don't think...

just go with a new muffler..... or us the resonator as your muffler and get a tip/dual tip

if the res doesn't quiet it enough get a cheap flowmaster and do tips off it

i got a flowmaster for my s-10 off ebay a few yrs ago for 25 + shipping.... maybe $75 total, then just had to get it mounted

Why not just have the muffler painted/coated and have a really nice tip welded onto the outlet/outlets?
