Yup. All is well in regards to the cooling system. It probably was the thermostat causing the heating problem as my heater gets much hotter now. I changed the coolant sensor anyways just cause I had the black top one that is prone to fail. Changed both at the same time to eliminate any possible failures in the future.
A new DV (a 710n instead of stock) fixed my boost vac isssues.
Now I just have to deal with my pesky off-power idle hunting issue.
