1.8t 710n questionnnnnn
Hi everyone :0)
I have a 710n diverter valve I got for free from a buddy. I am 100% stock ATM and plan on stage 1'ing within the next couple months. Should I put the dv on now? Will it do anything for me at all? Will I lose boost? I have found different threads but nothing exactly the same thanks for the help in advance!

At this point it won't hurt anything, and it won't help anything unless your stock DV is bad. You won't see any increase in performance and I didn't notice and change in sound or responsiveness when I went from my OEM DV to a 710n.

Hey everyone thanks for all the replies. Well looks like for now no chip it is becase I was going 65 on the freeway and have tabs 2 weeks expired so I am now the new owner of a 268 dollar ticket... what kind of performance will it give me?

It can be used either way. Has to do with which way the piston is facing and which way the boost pressure is pushing on it. I haven't really seen any evidence to support either direction but it's a simple valve, shouldn't really matter.
