Woot! Kill story...
So I let a friend of mine drive the TT after work tonight... he was mightily impressed. Took him out to show him what the car could do and when we come back from riding around another guy from work is in the parking lot about to leave and sees us messin around. He wants a piece. I have no idea what the guy is runnin at this point other than it looks like a 90's model integra, dropped with an exhaust on it and loud as hell.
My friend says how fast my car is to himso he says nah German pos blah blah all show no go... I said let's go. He says i'll follow you so we drive to a deserted road andhe pulls next to me. I said whenever you are readyso he takes off haha ******* didn't give me any warning, this is from a 25mph roll. He pulls about 1 car ahead of me. I'm in second and floor it. Turbo kicks in about 3000rpm I start catching up...6000rpm drop to3rd gear... even at this point he's still in second. I can't hear my own car at this point cause his is so loud. I start inching away and drop to 4th and start pulling away and I hear him shift to third. He's about 1 and half cars behind me at this point. I almost hit 90 which was a little too fast for the quality of road we were on, so I cut it off and so does he. We pull up toa light so he's like I gotta see your engine man. I show him mine, he's a little surprised to find out that it's "only" a 1.8l turbo. So i'm like let's see yours. His is a vtec b18, evo exhaust, performance headers, cai with cone, possibly some performance ignition but I don't remember about that part. On the way back to my car he shouts out "*******! that's the first time i've lost, my friend says bullsh!t, he's like no really that's the first."
Haha glad I could show him up in style :-)

Looked up the specs... wow that thing is light @ 2529lbs. No wonder it was so quick. He said it was pushing almost 200hp, but I had a feeling he was exaggerating. Historque sux though. VTEC is not all it's cracked up to be ;-) Nothing beatsforced inductionI guess.

LOL Hondas arent known for TQ. That is why they rev to 8200+. I highly doubt the car had 200hp. Its hard to break 250 with a Greddy turbo kit, less alone 200 with common bolt ons, such as intake, exhaust, etc. They definitely are light, if you really want to play find a hatchback civic (early 90s) with a gsr motor. They are pretty fun little car, but as you said loud and annoying as all hell.
