Default Wideband Sensor

So i purchased a wideband sensor for my 2001 audi tt quattro. It is a direct fit oem replacment. And i tapped into the black wire coming of the sensor for my air fuel gauge. So my air fuel gauge is a cheaper one and i know i should get a new one but i have an apexi SAFC im going to hook up so i wll beable to see it from there anyways. So on my a/f gauge it is all the way to the rich side and also my engine light came on today. Code PO135. Is that wideband i hooked up faulty or did i do something wrong? Thanks so much!

Default

So i took out the wideband and hooked up the stock on and unhooked negative to clear the code and it it came back after about 10 miles. I also when replaced the sensor replaced the exhaust with a 2.5 turbo back. Will i need like a spacer for my sensor or should i just buy a bung?
