wheel spacers
Hey guys, I got a set of TSW Thruxton 19in wheels from a friend... the thing is, they sit inside the wheel wells a lil more than the stock wheels do.
Has anybody used the kind of wheel spacers that bolt into the holes for the wheel studs and then you bolt the wheels into the spacers? They say these will give me about 1.5in of space which will pretty much fill my wheel well and my fender flares. What do you guys think?

RE: wheel spacers
ORIGINAL: joshuo
just keep in mind that wheels spacers will probably give you more vibration...

if they are balanced correctly and you are already running balanced wheels you shouldn't be able to tell a difference.
and for something like this I'd stay away from ebay brand spacers. keep with h&r, ecs, or fk.

RE: wheel spacers
Keep in mind you need different sizes front and rear if you want them to be even on all four corners. I run 15mm front and 20 rear.
Use this to calculate what size you need:

I think it's better to be just inside the fender (mine are 4-5mm) rather than a little outside to prevent road grime from being slung all over the side of your car.
