RE: what type of exhaust ??
im going 3 inch out of the turbo, no cat, then putting a bend to bring the exhaust back to the center, then Y pipe to equal length mufflers and exits. its gonna be a real pita to pull it off but i cant stand seeing one tip put out alot of smoke and then nothing out of the other.

I got a 3" 42DD dp, testpipe, to a 5" straight-through muffler (3" interior diameter), then splits to two 2.75" pipes to 4" tips. Custom is the way to go.It's expectedly loud on cold starts, calms down a bit at idle, but absolutely rips at WOT. Especially on a roadster, it's damn nice-- I love to hear the echoes when I'm going through town with the top down. Unfortunately, without a resonator, a cat, and resonated tips.. it's noticeably louder inside the cabin but there isno drone/resonance. I just need a more powerful sound system then!
Fit and finish is top notch, thanks to Fast Intentions in Southern California. My custom fab was modeled after the "Mufflex" (Lowcountry's old system, he later sold it), and is possibly the first on the West Coast.

I know I'm gonna get flamed again for buying my exhaust, but I love my APR setup. It's throaty at idle and sounds awesome at WOT. The fit and finish of it is gorgeous. It was almost a shame to put it under the car. The guys at bbexhaust.com who build these systems for APR really do beautiful work.
