according to apr's website there are some vvt and some non-vvt 01 cars. The non vvt 00-01 cars should have it.

and yes its just aglued in decal but it is recessed in the wheel so you would have a hole where it was.

 

So if I put a Type R decal on the back of my TT I can go faster???

 

If you really want some speed put one on either side and another on the back. It's better than chipping!!

 

i have an 01 225 and don't have the logo, it is pretty cool though.

 

Why would they put it on the steering wheel? Anyone know? It has to mean SOMETHING if the company put it there.

 

i consider it extra weight.. get rid of it and you'll go faster.

 

It is just the audi sport logo. maybe they just wanted to comemerate the interduction of the new sports model with the sport badge.

In terms of the Audi brand it is their first entry into the sports car category. Albeit, the stock version isn't what one might consider a sports car in terms of weight and handling.

The emblem is from the "S-Line" options package. They only did it on the 2000-2001 model year with the option package.
