I wasn't letting off the gas until redline... I was ready to die.

Any non-chip mods that elimate the speed limiter?

Well then, I guess i'm **** out of luck.

I remember I did a top speed limiter mod on my 240sx. (stock 115 mph)
Clipped a wire or something, decided to take it on a run to see if it worked.
It was snowing though so I couldn't safely drive that fast. But i'm smart, don't worry .

So I decided 120 mph is 120 mph whether the car is actually moving or not... right?
So I start doing donuts. 1st... second... third... 4th... wait, what's that smell?
Screw it, find out later, i'm almost there
The rpms are going up, but I can't break 80... Damnit! Let's try 5th!!!


Yeah... My clutch was beyond toast.

Bad idea, apparently.

-However I had the same issue. - However now I have a stage 1 clutch. - Its pretty sweet. - However its a bit noisy at idel /taking off...but once i'm moving ...its better than stock. - holds hard when down shifting...takes a beating when i'm upshifting.... beautiful clutch...
