Default what I've done for the past day!

Finally got around to putting my evoheatsheild spacer on...

My hired help got a little frisky with my dipstick tube and decided to yank it like a door handle, so I had to make a 2hr round trip to the dealer.

Hmm, a little dirty [>:]

outside we go for some cleaning

how your intake manifold should NOT look...

how your intake manifold SHOULD look

all clean and ready to be put back together

Was a little more work than I expected, but I got it done and a good experience none the less

lol, nah I didn't actually pay him. he was just there in my garage working on his car so I got him to help out a little.

I used carb cleaner to clean the manifold and something called Red Devil cleaner on the rest of the engine bay... worked excellent!

Well its hard to tell... when I went out to get something to eat today I opened the hood and felt the manifold, it still seemed extremely hot, I could only keep my hand on there for like a second or two. So I don't know

The manifold and the gasket should absorb any left over heat before going into the engine. Plus if you had a fmic, your pipes and manifold should be pretty cool already.
