Default What hose is this? [2001 Audi TT Roadster]

I have two hoses that started to split on my 2001 Audi TT roadster, and I'm not sure what they are...One of them I used a high heat epoxy, and it seems to be fine now. Anyone know what these hoses are? The second picture shows the splitting hose, you can kind of see it (lighting was bad)..and the third picture the first hose I used the epoxy on is at the top right (you can see the white crap all over it). So anyone have any ideas on what it is, or should I epoxy that too?

Ok, the bottom part is part number 06A 133 789 E and the dealership is telling me I have to purchase the entire assembly for $127.

The top part I think is a Vacuum Check Valve? It has Germany and the number 22 on it and that's it. Still trying to figure that one out.

hey, i'm actually dealing with the exact same thing.
The dealership is telling me I have to purchase the whole thing. Was there an alternate solution? Did you find it somewhere else?

From what I can tell, you have to get the whole unit, the dealership said $127, plus $208 for labor, i went to my local firestone and got the labor at $80 instead, they are putting it on today or tomorrow, whenever the part arrives.

I was kind of upset that I couldn't just buy that one hose, one guy told me that I could get a hose and make it fit, but I just didn't like the sound of that. With that one splitting, i figure the others in the assembly are just as old and are going to split as well anyways.

ecs sells the breather hoses for much cheaper than the dealer and job isnt that bad if you have a basic set of tools and some allen sockets if you want to remove the intake manifold

After dealing with your car, its a cake walk! I have swapped my intake manifold to another one twice now and it takes 20mins tops from begining to end.
