98 RON or 93 octane on base, 93 is actually better than the German 98 RON I get off base, oh, and FYI, it cost me 52 bucks to fill up today on base, like 3.90 a gallon freaking Euro to dollar rate. However, off base it would have cost me about 120.00 when converted back to dollars, so we have it better than the local Europeans.

I would want some hard facts before I would decide to go with a specific one. Sorry just skeptical that way.

On a side note about gas, I was at dealer service yesterday getting scheduled maintenance done (loner car for free too cool!) and had them check a problem on cold starts.
It would run erratically when holding gas pedel steady in first 4-5 minutes when cold. This even after running 2 bottle so Techron through it but this doesn't do much for throttle just injector.

He said they sprayed out the throttle as sometimes it gets clogged and said that high octane can cause that!! I laughed and he said yea, they tell you one thing for performance and then another for maintenance as he realized his own Audi contradiction. Weird.
