Just curious what everyone runs in their transmissions. I don't see fluid for transmissions mentioned on here very much, so I think it could be an interesting topic. I used to run Mobile1 Synthetic ATF in my manuale36 BMW and had amazing results with it.

 

some people go with the mobil 1 and other with redline mt90 or mtl i believe, tranny fluid change is in my near future, will post results when i do the change

 

That study at the top of the forum basically concluded that Amsoil owns everybody, so I think I'll be replacing mine with it soon. I know people use Redline 75W90 which I believe is cheaper and can be found at most autoparts places, not sure about Amsoil.

 

It looks like an "independent" study done by another company that was paid by amsoil to put that out.

A couple months ago I switched out to Royal Purple 75-90, but based on the "report" results I'll be switching back to Mobil 1 or Redline (more hassle, have to mail order around here).

 

So do you all run ATF or gear oil?

 

Gear oil...Full synthetic

 

It will be Redline MT-90 as soon as I get around to changing it.
Have everything sitting around waiting for me...
