Default what downpipe for the 180 FWD?

i am going to be going to go stage 2 with my 03 FWD tt soon so i need a downpipe, im getting a 3" most likely with a cat delete cause i only live in an OBD 1 county , but should i get the 42dd downpipe valueline ( its full welded not modular so its cheaper) or should i try to find a ebay downpipe for cheaper, just wondering if u think the 42dd is a good investment or if u know any good 3" catless downpipes feel free to let me know
thanks in advance

eBay ones for about $110 shipped are a great bargain. Ran one on my TT for years with no issues.

thnx cincy, u think the downpipe will make my exhaust much louder if i go catless? i already barely have a muffler its only a 6x4 inch race muffler, and think i need stiffer motor mount bushings?

It will be really loud and most likely drone. I have no cat but run 2 magnaflow mufflers and its stock like at cruising and rather loud when wot. You wont need new motor mounts, but you may want to look into new dogbone inserts. They are about $20 and take about 45 mins to install. This will get rid of most if not all of the wheel hop we get in a fwd car.

thnx for the advice cincy, i meant dogbone mounts, but idc about drone tht much as long as i can drive it quiet at cruising around town whn i dont wanna draw attention from cops, and another question whn i get the dogbone kit should i use the front transmission mount bushing cause the kit im getting comes with it but recommends not using it, i hve a tiptronic tranny if tht matters
