I agree with cincy, people over use the "ricer" thing WAY too much. It just makes you sound like some ignorant car snob. I personally own and love Hondas, they are really great cars IMO, and there ARE those of us japanese car fans who know not to rice the crap out of our cars. We make fun of the idiots that do that too. And about the corvette... how in the hell did anyone ever start comparinng a friggin Corvette to a civic/teg/prelude?! It just doesnt make sense, they are completely different types of cars to begin with. The corvette SHOULD stomp most any Honda at a track. Its a pure sports car, the Hondas arent. And any punk kid who tells you that their Honda (besides s2k/nsx) is a pure sports car is smoking crack. I love my Prelude, but I know where it stands in the grand scheme of sports cars. Oh and I love the TT that I just bought to replace it too, and I know where it stands also...

 

I think you missed the point. A $50+K low cost, almost supercar (from the factory) and a $13-15K ecomomy car. Even though you paid $20k for it its still a $50k performance car. With that kind of budget a civic should be able to more than compete. That is my point.

 

Well im gonna end this thread by saying this BUY a damn A4!!! and about the ZO6 yes they are very fast but they are almost a super car from the factory (as stated above) and i have seen plenty of Supras and some civics(modding like crazy) beat the straight **** out of them....A MkIV supra year 93.5 to 98 BPU(basic peformance upgrades) which is Intake, exhaust and DP, boost cut controller, gives those puppies close to 400hp
