Okay so i was driving down the road about 3-4 days ago and i noticed a slight clicking/popping noise coming from the front of the car. I was thinking it was a cv on its way out so i give it a couple more days to see ifthat is what it wasor if it was justsomething small like a stick or something under the carthat would fall out.I got in my car today and pulled out at the first stop sign and i heard afaint "pop" but the car seemed to be driving fine. Also I can turn the wheel all the way in one direction and keep a constant turning motionand not here the pop so im starting to think its not a cv b/c i would deff. be popping/clicking. The only other time i notice it is driving down the road at say 45-50 in 5 or 6 gear and pressing the gas petal all the way down and it make a dadadada sound for about 2 seconds then its fine. Its almost like something hitting/rubbing something on take off and accelerating from 45 and up. The car handles fine and all the boots are on the cv joints w/ no play. Any Ideas???????????????

 

How many miles on the car? Do you still have the stock suspension? It could be a noise coming from the strut bearings #6 in the photo below...

 

the car has roughly 80k on it and factory suspension for now. I am in the process of getting new though b/c i know the front left strut is almost shot because you can hear it bottom out sometimes.

 

That's the most likely culprit then. Get your struts replaced or go with coilovers and don't forget to replace the strut bearings.
