Very upset...
I am new to this forum, but have searched throughly and can't find any info on leaky headliners on a TT coupe. I see it isn't uncommon in a convertable. I have a 2001 Coupe HO. It rained very hard here the past few days, and there were a few drips of water on the drivers side headrest, and I noticed a small water spot on the headliner in between the roof pillar and top portion of the headliner. I must add that when I bought the car (from a reputable dealer in Chicago), he mentioned they needed to put a new antenna on the roof, as the other one was damaged (One can only wonder). I'm curious to see if the leak would be coming from the antenna area? Or would there be a leak more towards the middle portion of the headliner. It's out of warranty, and I'm guessing this could get bad. Any input would be appreciated, especially if you know how to fix such a problem.

seems like it would have to run uphill to go from the antenna... maybe coming down thru the roof rack mounting points? (you have those right?) The little tabs on the sills on the roof. You, or a shop, are gonna have to pull the headliner down to see for sure, I've never done it, I've heard its a little disconcerning the first time, because the snaps are hard to release, and make a pretty loud popping sound when they do. I'd feel like i was breaking something at every pull I imagine.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering- if the leak would be coming from the roof rack tabs. Yeah, that snapping may bother me a bit also. What is this I see about a drainage point being clogged, where are these at exactly?
